- Use the divisibility rules to find out the divisors of a given number
- Find out the least common multiple (LCM) and the greatest common factor (GCF) of two given numbers
- Find out the prime factorization of a given number
- Strengthen their language skills as math topics are studied
- Expand and refine math vocabulary
- Interpret information by retelling what was understood
- Decide what procedure(s) can be used to solve a math problem
- Create a power point presentation or a Glogster to show understanding
- Respect and value their classmates' comments and ideas
